Shagufta Ali seeks financial help for medical treatment, CINTAA reaches out to her

Veteran actress Shagufta Ali, who has featured in many TV shows and films, is facing financial trouble. The actress, who has been out of work for the last four years, has now asked for help, as she is unable to take care of her medical bills. After coming to know about her dire situation, Cine & TV Artistes Association (CINTAA) has taken action and will soon reach out to the actress. Speaking to an entertainment portal, Shagufta Ali revealed that she is a cancer survivor. The 54-year-old actress also said that she is suffering from diabetes. Talking about her illness, she said, "I have been ill for the last 20 years but at that time I was young and I could handle it. I had cancer in the third advanced stage and I became a survivor." No one except for a very few close friends from the industry knew about this. The actress underwent surgery to remove the lump and had to undergo chemotherapy sessions.
