Bipasha Basu and Dino Morea’s Raaz turns 20 today, February 1. The duo shared special posts and thanked everyone for all the love.
Raaz was a gamechanger and is celebrated for being one of the best horror films in Bollywood. The Bipasha Basu, Dino Morea-starrer released 20 years ago, on February 1, 2002. As the horror flick completed two decades of its release, Bipasha and Dino remembered the iconic film and thanked everyone.
Helmed by Vikram Bhatt, Raaz was a complete package of horror, thrill and romance. On its 20th anniversary, Bipasha wrote, “Raaz - Grateful for this film. Raaz is one of my first few filmswhich got me a direct entry into the hearts of millions of people Thank you for keeping me in your hearts still Sending love to the entire cast and crew of Raaz #20yearsofraaz (sic).”
Dino Morea also shared a heartfelt post as Raaz hit the 20-year milestone. He wrote, “20 years of #Raaz. I am so grateful to everyone involved in making this happen for me. Mukesh Ji, Bhatt Saab, Vikram & my lovely Co-stars Bipasha, Malini, Ashutosh Rana & many others. It’s been 20 years & still a fantastic film which so many remember. The songs till today are being played many times over. The thrill, the scare, the romance the film, still spoken about. We did start a trend for cool, nice scary movies. So thanks again to you, the audience for loving us (sic).”
The Raaz franchise was carried forward by films like Raaz: The Mystery Continues, Raaz 3 and Raaz Reboot released. However, the first installment starring Bipasha Basu and Dino Morea remains the best one. Don’t you agree?
