‘Ensure quick paddy procurement, strict action against erring officials’
Taking into account the problems faced by farmers in the State, the Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court on Tuesday directed the government to establish sufficient number of direct purchase centres (DPCs) with adequate storage facilities for paddy procurement. A Division Bench of Justices N. Kirubakaran and B. Pugalendhi directed the government to issue auto-generated token numbers to the farmers and ensure paddy procurement without delay.More Related News
