South Central Railway cancels 50 trains and diverts 25 due to repair works in Telugu States.

South Central Railway (SCR) has announced on Tuesday (September 3, 2024) the cancellation of about 50 trains and diversion of more than 25 trains scheduled to department on Tuesday, Wednesday (September 4, 2024) and one on Thursday (September 5, 2024), due to the continuing repair works to plug the breaches caused by the recent heavy rains in the Telugu States of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

The Trains cancelled are: 17208 Machilipatnam Shirdi Sainagar (September 3, 2024), 17207 Shirdi Sainagar Machilipatnam (September 4, 2024), 18046 Hyderabad Shalimar (September 4, 2024), 17405 Tirupati Adilabad (September 3, 2024), 12787 Narasapur Nagarsol (September 3, 2024), 12788 Nagarsol Narasapur (September 4, 2024), 12706 Secunderabad Guntur (September 3, 2024), 12705 Guntur Secunderabad (September 3, 2024), 12749 Machilipatnam Bidar (September 3, 2024), 12750 Bidar Machilipatnam (September 3, 2024).

The trains cancelled also includes, 22870 Chennai Central Visakhapatnam (September 3, 2024), 20811 Visakhapatnam Nanded (September 3, 2024) and 20812 Nanded Visakhapatnam (September 4, 2024), 17480 Tirupati Puri (September 3, 2024), 12760 Hyderabad Tambaram (September 3, 2024), 12759 Tambaram Hyderabad (September 3, 2024), 12862 Mahbubnagar Visakhapatnam (September 3, 2024), 12861 Visakhapatnam Mahbubnagar (September 3, 2024), 12745, 12746 Manuguru Secunderabad (September 3, 2024), 17660 Bhadrachalam Road Secunderabad (September 3, 2024).

Besides them, the following were cancelled too: 08584 Tirupati Visakhapatnam (September 3, 2024), 12709 Gudur Secunderabad (September 3, 2024), 12710 Secunderabad Gudur (September 3, 2024), 12727 Visakhapatnam Hyderabad (September 3, 2024), 12739 Visakhapatnam Secunderabad (September 3, 2024), 12745 Secunderabad Manuguru (September 3, 2024), 12746 Manuguru Secunderabad (September 4, 2024), 17660 Bhadrachalam Road Secunderabad (September 4, 2024), 17659 Secunderabad Bhadrachalam (September 3, 2024), 17250 Kakinada Port Tirupati (September 3, 2024).

More than 25 trains have been diverted which have stoppages between Vijayawada-Jangaon, Kazipet- Vijayawada, Warangal- Gudur, Warangal, Vijayawada, Kazipet – Vijayawada, Gudur, Khammam, Ongole, Nellore, Nagpur & Duvvada, Warangal & Renigunta, and Khammam-Bhongir. The long distance trains diverted includes 18519 Visakhaptnam LTT Mumbai, 18045 Shalimar Hyderabad, 11019 CSMT Mumbai Bhubaneswar, 12763 Tirupati Secunderabad, 11020 Bhubaneswar CSMT Mumbai, 18519 Visakhaptnam LTT Mumbai, 18045 Shalimar Hyderabad and others, according to a press release.
