Schools, colleges in Himachal Pradesh closed till April 4 amid Covid-19 surge

The schools and colleges in Himachal Pradesh have been shut down till April 4 due to a sudden surge in Covid-19 cases in the state.

The government of Himachal Pradesh has ordered all educational institutes in the state, including all schools and colleges, till April 4, 2021. The government has decided to shut down the schools and colleges due to the surge in Covid-19 cases in the state. Though all the schools and colleges have been shut down in Himachal Pradesh, the students of higher classes, who are set to appear for the final exams in upcoming months, will be allowed to go to school for offline lessons. All regular schools have been closed in the state till April 4 but the board schools in Himachal Pradesh are to remain functional during this time. Some schools in the state were closed earlier due to several reports of Covid-19 on the premises.
