SBSP chief rubbishes talks of party returning to BJP-led alliance

SBSP chief Omprakash Rajbhar rubbishes talks of his party returning to the BJP-led alliance after SP's defeat in the UP assembly polls. The SBSP had fought UP polls in alliance with the SP.
Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) chief Omprakash Rajbhar on Saturday said that his "support is with the Samajwadi Party and will remain so."
This came following the speculations of the SBSP returning to the fold of the ruling BJP-led alliance in Uttar Pradesh, after the defeat of SP in Assembly polls.
The SBSP had fought the UP polls in alliance with the SP.
"This news is baseless. There is nothing like that. We are with the Samajwadi Party. We are preparing for the local body elections. We are doing an assembly wise review and preparing for 2024," he said.

He added, "I met the big leaders of BJP last in 2019. None of my party leaders called me to complain because they believed that whoever is fighting the battle was fighting for me. We are with our leader."
Meanwhile, Omprakash said that the country is in the process of forming a big alliance. "The leader could be anyone but we all will be together. Everyone will sit together and decide the leader of that front, the 2024 election will be fought under his leadership."
