A Russian woman's exclusive journey as the sole passenger on a commercial flight from Latvia to Dubai received a whole lot of attention online, with viewers reacting to her unique experience.
A Russian woman flying from Latvia to Dubai found herself in a rather unusual situation mid-air, where she turned out to be the only passenger on the entire flight.
Instagram user Marina Gilla shared a video of the moment, recording what she jokingly described as a “VIP flight” from Riga, Latvia to Dubai on March 8.
In the now-viral clip, the camera panned across the aircraft cabin, revealing row after row of completely empty seats. The only visible passenger was Gilla herself, seated comfortably while filming the surprising experience.
The text displayed on the video read: “When you are the only passenger on the plane to Dubai on the 8th of March, 2026!” followed by a laughing emoji. The video captured the quiet, almost eerie atmosphere of a plane that appeared fully prepared for a normal journey yet carrying just a single traveller.
In the caption accompanying the video, she joked about the experience, writing: “A VIP flight from Riga to Dubai," clearly poking fun at the unexpected luxury of having the entire aircraft to herself.
