Rupali Ganguly shared her thoughts on the upcoming sequel, Dhurandhar: The Revenge. The actor recalled her experience with the first film and revealed what she thought about bits and pieces of the Ranveer Singh starrer.
Actor Rupali Ganguly, known for her role in Anupamaa, has shared her impressions of the upcoming film Dhurandhar: The Revenge. She recently admitted to watching viewing select scenes ahead of its theatrical release on March 19.
The Ranveer Singh-led sequel has generated significant interest, especially among fans of the original movie. Ganguly highlighted the film's visuals and her anticipation for the sequel, emphasising her personal connection through her brother, choreographer Vijay Ganguly.
In a conversation with NDTV, the actor said, "I watched Dhurandhar twice in theatre. What a film. I can’t wait for the second part to come out, and yesterday I saw bits and pieces from the second part also. Vijay was editing something, and we were doing a video call. And he was like, "See this shot, see this shot. Oh, what a shot it was, and I asked him to rewind again and show it to me again. Every frame is amazing."
Her comments reflect not just familial pride, but also the enthusiasm surrounding the film's release.
The upcoming film continues the story from the original, which has already seen considerable commercial success. The sequel is directed by Aditya Dhar and features a star-studded cast, including Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi.
The film is produced by Jio Studios and Dhar's B62 Studios, with an aim to reach diverse audiences by releasing in multiple languages such as Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. The marketing campaign is expected to intensify as the release date approaches.
