Runway 34 box office collection Day 10: Ajay Devgn's film faces heat from Yash's KGF Chapter 2

Ajay Devgn's Runway 34 is not doing great business at the box office. The film suffered a major loss due to Yash's KGF: Chapter 2 wave.

While Yash's film KGF: Chapter 2 continues breaking records at the box office, other films are suffering to place their hold in the theatres. One such film that suffered a massive loss due to KGF 2 is Ajay Devgn's Runway 34. The aviation thriller is not doing great business at the box office. Now, with the release of Doctor Strange 2, the collections may further decline.

Ajay Devgn's third directorial, Runway 34 enjoys an ensemble cast of Amitabh Bachchan, Rakul Preet Singh, Boman Irani and Carry Minati. While the film fell flat after a low opening at the box office, the collections have declined even further. On Day 10, Runway 34 reportedly managed to earn Rs 2.50 crore. Hence, the total collection now stands at Rs 29 crore. Meanwhile, Runway 34 had an overall 44.08 per cent Hindi Occupancy on Sunday, May 8.

Runway 34 is a gripping film, inspired by the true story behind the Jet Airways Doha to Kochi flight, 9W 555. Due to bad weather and low visibility, the pilot, in this case, Vikrant, had the impossible choice of attempting a landing that could go either way. The film stars Ajay Devgn, Amitabh Bachchan, Boman Irani, Rakul Preet Singh, Angira Dhar and Aakanksha Singh. It was released in the theatres on April 29.
