The State government on Thursday assured the High Court of Karnataka that it would not close any road connecting Kerala through Dakshina Kannada district to prevent spread of COVID-19. The assurance was given before a Division Bench comprising Chief Justice Abhay Shreeniwas Oka and Justice Suraj Govindaraj during the hearing of a PIL petition by B. Subbaya Rai, a Mangaluru-based advocate. The petitioner had questioned the closure of 23 roads connecting Kerala through Dakshina Kannada.More Related News
