Redmi to launch more than one Note 11 series phone in India on Feb 9

Redmi India has confirmed that it will be launching more than one Note 11 series smartphone in India on February 9. At least one of these phones will be Redmi Note 11S.

Redmi India has confirmed that it will be launching more than one Note 11 series smartphone in India on February 9, 2022. The smartphone maker had earlier announced that it will be introducing the Redmi Note 11S in the country on the mentioned date. Now, it has teased the launch of another smartphone. A new tweet from Redmi India says that ‘we are here to set the bar and make it double’. The tweet further suggests the launch of beasts - confirming that more than one phone can be launched on the mentioned date.

The announcement comes only a day after Redmi launched the Note 11 series in global markets. Globally, the smartphone maker has launched the Redmi Note 11, Redmi Note 11 Pro, Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 11S. The Note 11 series was initially launched in China last year.

Xiaomi has already introduced the Redmi Note 11 in India as the Note 11T 5G while the Redmi Note 11 Pro and Note 11 Pro Plus were introduced as Xiaomi 11i and Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge, respectively.

While we know that one of the phones Redmi will launch in India on Feb 9 will be the Note 11S, there is no word on what the second device can be. The Indian variant of Note 11S is likely to have the same features as the global variant.

Globally, the phone comes with a 6.43-inch display with 90Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G96 chipset paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The smartphone comes with a quad rear camera that includes a 108-megapixel primary shooter.

It packs a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging. The price of this phone starts at around Rs 18,000. It will be interesting to see how much the Indian price is. We should expect to hear more about the two devices as the launch nears.
