Realme 8 Pro 108-megapixel camera, battery now work better with new update rollout
India Today
Realme is rolling out a new software update for 8 Pro units and it brings a number of improvements.
Realme is gearing up for the launch of the Realme 8 5G series in the first market, Thailand but the new 5G phones will eventually arrive in India. On the other hand, the company is not leaving the users of regular 8 series phones behind. The Realme 8 Pro is receiving a fresh software update that brings fixes for a number of issues, but specifically the one that somehow was ruining the camera experience for some users. The 108-megapixel camera system is everything for the phone and that is why it needs to be robust. The new software update will take your 8 Pro’s build to RMX3081_11_A.28. It is 276MB in size and is downloadable over both mobile data and Wi-Fi networks, although I would suggest you choose the latter to save your cellular data. Interestingly, this update does not have the April 2021 security patch, which is an obvious thing to assume because that is how the update rollout works for most phones. Realme has issued the update only to patch some issues right now. And this means that the security update will arrive later. Considering the pace with which Realme is treating software updates for 8 Pro and probably some other new smartphones, it will not take long to see the Oppo offshoot as one of the brands that have a streamlined software rollout system. So, let us talk about what exactly this software update fixes.
