Ayushmann Khurrana probably isn't aware of this just as yet but his character from his 2012 film Vicky Donor inspired a man from Goa to tread a similar path - of sperm donation. Shoojit Sircar's Vicky Donor featured Ayushmann in the titular role, who donated sperms to help couples struggling to have kids. Now, here's the story of a real-life Vicky Donor. Humans Of Bombay shared the man's story in their social media posts and it has gone viral after being made available online. It all started after the man in question received a call from his doctor friend, who asked him to volunteer for a couple that required a sperm donor. Although, he had watched Vicky Donor, but he was quite doubtful as he found himself clouded with several questions in his mind. "2 years ago, I received a call from my doctor friend to visit the clinic he worked in. There, he took me aside & asked-'There's a couple that requires a sperm donor. Would you like to volunteer?' I thought he was kidding! I'd seen the film 'Vicky Donor', 'but Ayushmann didn't actually do that, it was a movie,' I thought to myself. Ultimately, the fact that I could potentially help a couple conceive made me agree to be a donor," he told Humans of Bombay.
