Rashmika Mandanna thought Amitabh Bachchan didn't like her until he tweeted 'Pushpa...'

Amitabh Bachchan had sent a handwritten note for his Goodbye co-star Rashmika Mandanna. And now, Big B has requested the actress for a reply!

Rashmika Mandanna is set to make her Hindi debut with Goodbye. The trailer was launched at an event in Mumbai on September 6 where Rashmika shared that initially she thought that Amitabh Bachchan did not like her as he came across as a strict person to her. The actress plays Big B's daughter in the film.

Speaking about her first meeting with Amitabh Bachchan on the sets of Goodbye, Rashmika Mandanna said, "I just wanted to introduce myself so I waited while sir was shooting. I just wanted to say hi to him. I was standing in one corner."

After completing the shoot, Big B walked passed her but she did not introduce her to him. So, the Pushpa actress again gathered courage and went up to him to introducer herseld. "I was there flashing a big smile and I said 'Hi sir, (I am) Rashmika, nice to meet you. I am going to play your daughter'. And, I was out, because I was so nervous and throughout the shooting I remember that initially I thought he didn't like me because he was so strict."

However, their relationship changed gradually and they became close while shooting for the film. Rashamika recalled the time when Big B shared a picture of hers on Twitter. She said, "I remember one day... just randomly...when I walked on the sets, everyone was like 'did you see Twitter?' I was like 'no, what happened?' They were like 'Bachchan sir posted a picture of you saying Pushpa. I was like 'wait, that happened!'I think our relationship got closer and closer throughout the making of this film."

At the Goodbye trailer launch event held in Mumbai, Rashmika revealed that she received a handwritten letter from Big B. The legend asked her to reply to his letter.

Rashmika spoke about working with Amitabh Bachchan and also spoke about the letter she received from him. She said, “It’s been an absolute pleasure. I remember the letter that I got from you and I still keep it with me, very close to me. Thank you for being you and thank you for letting me work with you. It’s been super-special.” To this, Amitabh Bachchan said, “Please write a letter back to me.” Rashmika yet again replied, “I will do that, Sir. I’ll have to.”
