One of our favourite childhood memories is probably sitting in front of the TV and watching the epic series - BR Chopra's Mahabharat. Oh, the joy! While those good old days may not return, the Mahabharata could soon be made for the big screen. While speculation around the much-awaited film is high and producer Madhu Mantena had also confirmed that Deepika Padukone's film based on the epic is in the works, recently, Ranveer Singh's comment in an interview has gotten fans excited again. The actor was talking about donning the director's hat, and he said that if that were to happen he'd like to make Mahabharata for the big screen. So, if he pulls it off, who should be cast in the various roles?

Karna is one of the most interesting characters in Mahabharata simply by virtue of his complexity. Ranveer, who has already left us impressed with his role as Alauddin Khalji in Padmavat, will definitely nail this one. In an interview, he himself said that he would love to play the role of Karna!
Bollywood's Greek God AKA Hrithik Roshan is known to play each and every role with ease. For our Mahabharata casting, we would love to see the talented actor as Shree Krishna.
We think the eldest Pandava brother can be played by none other than Ajay Devgn. Be it his acting skills or his popularity amongst the masses, Ajay Devgn is the perfect choice! Do you agree?
South Star Prabhas would be our choice for Duryodhan. His fierce looks coupled with his strong acting skills make him a tough contender for the role.
