Ranbir Kapoor shares he feels safe and protected around Alia Bhatt. Says 'lucky we found each other'

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are all set to embrace parenthood soon. The Shamshera actor recently shared that he feels safe and protected around wife Alia and hopes she feels the same.

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are all set to welcome their first child soon. The couple got married on April 14. While Ranbir has been all up and about, talking about his soon-to-arrive baby during Shamshera promotions, the actor showered truckloads of praise on Alia and said he feels safe and protected around her.

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt dated for five years before tying the knot on April 14, 2022. The couple is all set to embrace a new part of their lives - becoming parents. Ranbir and Alia are truly, madly and deeply in love and we saw a glimpse of the same in their wedding photos. Ranbir, who will be next seen in Shamshera, spoke to Harper’s Bazaar India about Alia. He said, "Alia just felt like my best friend. Like, we can talk, laugh, and be honest with each other. I’m not a very expressive person, but I can express myself with her. And she just gets it. You know, deep down in your heart, you just know... There’s an instinct, a gut feeling...you feel safe, you feel protected. And I think she feels that with me, too. We are lucky that we found each other."

I am extremely excited about that, I can’t wait.”
