In a recent interview, Ranbir Kapoor revealed he has no plans to go to Hollywood. His wife, Alia Bhatt, is currently shooting for her first international project, Heart of Stone.

While most stars aspire to go to Hollywood, Ranbir Kapoor has no such plans. On the other hand, his wife, Alia Bhatt, is currently shooting for her Hollywood debut project, Heart of Stone. During an interview, the actor revealed the reason behind his own non-existent Hollywood dreams.

Ranbir Kapoor is a versatile actor, who has proved his acting prowess by nailing several difficult roles. However, unlike many, including his wife Alia Bhatt, the actor doesn’t plan on joining Hollywood yet. Talking about the same with Dainik Jagran, Ranbir revealed that he is scared of the auditions and hence, he isn’t planning to go through the process anytime soon.

“I am really scared of auditions. The dreams Alia has, I have never seen in anybody else. But I am happy where I am,” said Ranbir. The Barfi actor also feels that in order to reach the audience worldwide, one can do it in their own culture and language.

“Meri gaadi yahan theek chal rahi hai (I am doing just fine here). I am happy with that much. I don’t have any Hollywood dreams. All my dreams are for Brahmastra. I have always believed that if you want to reach audience worldwide, you can do it with your own culture and language. I feel whatever content is entertaining in your culture, it can touch all audiences,” added the actor.

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt got married in an intimate wedding ceremony at their Mumbai home, Vastu, in the presence of close friends and family members. Before tying the knot, the two were together for years, much like a married couple. In fact, while talking about marriage, Alia once said, “I'm already married to Ranbir Kapoor in my head.”

During a recent interview with Dainik Jagran, Ranbir Kapoor opened up about married life. “There has been no big change (in our lives). We have been together for five years, so we felt let’s get married. But we had certain commitments so finished them first,” said the actor.

He further added that he is thinking about taking a week off as he doesn’t feel married right now. “The next day after our wedding, we both resumed work. Alia went for her shoot and I also went to Manali. When she returns from London (where she is shooting her Hollywood debut) and after my film Shamshera releases (on July 22), we are thinking of taking a week off. It does not feel like we are married right now,” he added.
