Ramprasad Ki Tehrvi team is upset after watching Sanya Malhotra's Pagglait. However, director Seema Pahwa feels it's a coincidence, which could have been avoided.
Sanya Malhotra-starrer Pagglait released on Netflix on March 26. Written and directed by Umesh Bist, the film revolves around a young widow, who tries to find her own identity after her husband of a 5-month-old marriage dies. The film was loved by critics and the audience alike. However, Pagglait has got into a plagiarism row for its uncanny resemblance to the film Ramprasad Ki Tehrvi, which released in theatres on January 1, 2021. A source close to Ramprasad Ki Tehrvi’s team spoke to BollywoodHungama.com and said, "The actors and other members from the team were quite upset and angry when they saw Pagglait. They couldn’t believe that the film is so similar in so many ways to Ramprasad Ki Tehrvi. From the location to the character traits to even camera angles, so many things seem to be copied is what they allege."More Related News
