Rakesh Tikait's Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM) has announced to stage nationwide protest against 'Agnipath' scheme on June 24.
The Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM) has announced its decision to join the anti-Agnipath protests and has called for a nationwide agitation on June 24.
The Kisan Union leader Rakesh Tikait, after a meeting with SKM leaders in Karnal, Haryana, said that they will stage protests against the Agnipath scheme.
"The SKM will protest against the Agnipath scheme on June 24 at the district headquarters across the country. Citizen and youth are requested to join the protest against the scheme," said Tikait.
The decision was taken in the SKM core committee meeting. Different unions under the SKM organised meetings across the country and decided to unanimously oppose the Agnipath scheme.
