Raju Srivastava's prayer meet to be held in Mumbai on September 25

Raju Srivastava passed away on September 21. His family has now announced that a prayer meeting will be held for him in Juhu on Sunday, September 25.

Raju Srivastava breathed his last on September 21 after suffering a heart attack last month. The popular comedian was cremated in Delhi on September 22. His family took to his official social media account to announce that a prayer meet will be held for him in Mumbai on Sunday, September 25.

Raju Srivastava's family shared the announcement on Instagram with a note that read, "With profound sorrow we inform you of the passing of Sri Raju Srivastava on Wednesday 21st Sep 2022. The Prayer meeting will be held on 25th Sep 22. Date: 25th Sep 2022 (Sunday) Time: 4 PM to 6.00 PM Address: Mandapam Hal, ISKCON Juhu Sri Sri Radha Rasabihariji Temple, Mumbai 400049 #RajuSrivastav #RajuSrivastava (sic)."

Raju Srivastava had suffered severe brain damage after the cardiac arrest, and had remained unconscious and under observation at AIIMS, Delhi since August 10. He passed away on September 21, and after a postmortem, he was cremated today. Raju Srivastava's brother-in-law had earlier confirmed that Raju's funeral will be held in Delhi. The comedian's body was taken to Dashratpuri near Dwarka, Delhi. His last rites were held in Nigambodh Ghat in Delhi, which is located on the banks of the Yamuna river coast.
