Rajasthan schools to reopen: Rajasthan government has decided to reopen its schools till class 5 from February 16, 2022, onwards. This decision was taken on Sunday, February 13, 2022. As per the directions, the schools will be reopened in a hybrid model.
Students can continue with their offline classes from February 16, 2022, as per the government decision, but schools will be requiring written consent from parents regarding their ward coming to offline classes. Parents can decide whether they want to send their children for offline classes or not.
Students will be allowed to choose between online and offline classes. A hybrid model of education has been adopted by educational institutions in the state.
Rajasthan is another state to follow reopening orders issued by the Ministry of Education. The centre allowed the reopening of educational institutions but left the final decision in the hands of state governments and Union Territories' administration.
The Rajasthan government reopened schools for classes 10 and 12 from February 1, 2022, and for classes 6 to 9 from February 10, 2022, onwards.
