
Rajasthan CM approves decision on recruiting 1000 colleges lecturers

The Rajasthan Chief Minister, Ashok Gehlot, gave the approval for the recruitment of 1000 more college lecturers in a recent meeting.
On Wednesday, the Rajasthan Chief Minister, Ashok Gehlot, gave the approval for the recruitment of 1000 more college lecturers. He has further approved a budget of Rs. 200 crore for the construction of the new colleges. In a review meeting of the Higher Education Department, Gehlot asked officials to create a strong mechanism so that effective compliance of UGC and other parameters can be ensured in all colleges.
He said that in order to maintain the quality of education in government colleges, the process of recruitment and promotion should be speeded up. He added that through the Rajasthan Public Service Commission, the ongoing recruitment process for about 1,000 college lecturer posts should be completed soon.
