Punjab government teachers and principals fought for free lunch hours after a meeting with Chief Minister Mann on education reforms.
Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann had called a meeting with school teachers and principals to discuss reforms in education. Hours later, they were seen jostling and fighting to grab a plate of free lunch.
The video of the incident has gone viral on social media. The government teachers were seen elbowing and jostling to reach out for a plate. One of the hotel staff had to quickly move the plates to a corner. When he started distributing them one by one, he was swarmed by teachers.

“They really need to be sent to 'Hayward' for some basic 'civic sense' training,” a user commented on Twitter.
Punjab government had arranged free lunch for the teachers at the meeting venue. The chaotic scenes in the dining hall, as soon as the meeting got over, raised some eyebrows.
