Punjab farmer unions to meet tomorrow, likely to decide on ending protest

At least 32 farmer organisations from Punjab are set to meet on Saturday to take a call on their future course of action after the Centre announced to repeal the three farm laws.

After Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the roll back of the three farm laws on Friday, at least 32 farmers' organisations from Punjab are set to meet on Saturday to take a call on their future course of actions.

The farmer unions, which have been sitting on a protest on different borders of Delhi since November last year, are likely to decide the future of their agitation and their stand on the Minimum Support Price (MSP).
