Punjab: Capt Amarinder Singh says Congress spreading 'preposterous lies', party says he lost support of MLAs

Captain Amarinder Singh’s remarks came after Randeep Singh Surjewala claimed that 78 Punjab Congress MLAs had expressed lack of confidence against the former CM, while Harish Rawat said the number was 43.

Former Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh attacked the Congress for allegedly spreading “preposterous lies” in its bid to cover the mismanagement of the party’s crisis in the state.
