Pune to witness cloudy skies for next four days | Check weather forecast

Pune is likely to witness partly cloudy skies as the day temperature dipped a notch or two in parts of the city. The weather agency has not forecast any rainfall for Pune.
The Regional Meteorological Centre, Pune, has forecast partly cloudy skies for the city from Thursday and this is likely to bring the temperatures further down till May 21.
The seven-day forecast from Pune MeT Centre reveals that the city is likely to experience partly cloudy skies till May 22. On May 23 and 24, clear sky conditions have been predicted, the forecast revealed.
Even though the day temperatures plummeted a notch or two in parts of Pune on Tuesday, there are no chances of rainfall in the coming days. Pune is very likely to witness thunderstorms with lightning and gusty winds at isolated places on May 18 and 19.
On Tuesday, day temperatures dropped in Oune and the relative humidity was around 50 to 60 per cent in most parts of the city. The weather agency has forecast thunderstorms with lightning and gusty winds at isolated places in Pune, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg, Kolhapur, Satara, Sangli, Solapur, Nanded, Latur and Osmanabad districts till May 19. There are no chances of rain, the IMD said.
North Madhya Maharashtra and Vidarbha regions are bracing for heatwave conditions from May 17 to 21, the IMD forecast said. Whereas south Madhya Maharashtra, south Konkan and some districts of Marathwada may experience thunderstorms with lightning and gusty winds at isolated places.

On Tuesday, around fifteen places in Maharashtra recorded a temperature of above 40 degrees Celsius and Wardha recorded the maximum day temperature at 45 degrees Celsius.
