A 61-year-old shopkeeper in Pune molested a 19-year-old girl when she went to the shop to buy groceries at night. She later attempted suicide, following which police have booked the shopkeeper. According to a report in The Indian Express, the girl’s mother had lodged a complaint saying the shopkeeper molested her, which disturbed the girl. She went to the shop on May 28 around 10 pm to buy ice cream. Later, she attempted to kill herself by consuming bleaching liquid used to wash clothes.
