Puducherry allows theatres, multiplexes, bars to reopen with 50 per cent capacity

Government of Pudhucherry on Saturday announced further relaxation of the Covid-19 guidelines. As pew new orders, theatres and multiplexes in the Union Territory can reopen with 50 percent occupancy by following the existing standard operational procedures (SOPs). The Puducherry government also allowed bars, which are attached to liquor shops, to start functioning with 50 percent capacity. The timing for this will be between 9 am and 9 pm. Otherwise, the government extended the existing lockdown till August 15.
