The PSEB Class 10 result 2022 was declared today, and Nancy Rani from Ferozpur has secured the top rank.
Punjab School Education Board, PSEB, declared the Punjab Board Class 10 results 2022 today, July 5, 2022. The PSEB Class 10 2022 results were declared at around 12:15 pm through a press conference. Along with the PSEB Class 10 results 2022, the board also released other details like the overall pass percentage and the merit list.
This year, the overall pass percentage for the PSEB Class 10 results 2022 stood at 97.94 percent as more than 3.11 lakh candidates took the exams in regular mode while as many as 3.23 lakh kids took exams while 3.16 lakh students passed.
This year, girls have outshone boys in the PSEB 10th Board Result 2022, both in terms of pass percentages and by bagging the top 3 spots.
The first position was bagged by Nancy Rani from Ferozpur, daughter of Ram Krishan, who scored 644/650 or 99.8 percent.
Dilpreet Kaur from Sangrur, daughter of Rabi Singh, secured the 2nd rank by scoring 644/650 or 99.8 percent.The third rank was bagged by Komal Preet Kaur from Sangrur, daughter of Tarsem Singh, who scored 642/ 650 or 98.70 percent.
This year, the Gurdaspur district emerged as the top district in terms of pass percentage with 99.52 percent, Pathankot was second with 99.48 percent, and SBS Nagar ranked third with 99.42 pass percentage.
