LDF activists wave black flags at Priyanka Gandhi Vadra during visit to Wayanad, Kerala; meets families of deceased.
A group of Left Democratic Front (LDF) activists waved black flags at Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Congress’ Wayanad MP, during her journey from the Kannur airport to the constituency in Kerala on Tuesday (January 28, 2025).
According to sources, the incident happened at Kaniyaram. The LDF activists alleged that Ms. Vadra was “bothering to visit Wayanad only when there are serious incidents there.”
The Congress leader later visited the house of Radha who was killed in an attack by a tiger at the Priyadarshini Estate at Pancharakolly village in Wayanad recently. She consoled Radha’s family members. Ms. Vadra was accompanied by senior Congress leaders.
She later visited the family members of N.M. Vijayan, the former district Congress committee treasurer, who died by suicide in December last.
Ms. Vadra will also attend the ‘Malayora Jatha’ being taken out by Leader of the Opposition V.D. Satheesan at Sulthan Bathery.
