The makers of Prithviraj unveiled its new trailer today, May 24. It shows Sanjay Dutt and Sonu Sood as Akshay Kumar’s confidants in and outside the battlefield.
With just a few days left for the release of Prithviraj, the makers of the film have unveiled its new trailer. Starring Akshay Kumar as Prithviraj Chauhan, it shows how he became Samrat (king) with the help of his confidants Sanjay Dutt and Sonu Sood. While Sanjay is playing Kaka Kanha, Sonu will be seen as Chand Bardal in Prithviraj. The film also stars the former Miss World Manushi Chillar as Sanyogita.
After teasing fans with glimpses of soulful tracks of Prithviraj, the makers dropped a new trailer of the film. While the first one showed Akshay Kumar’s bravery as Prithviraj Chauhan, the new trailer highlights his bond with his confidants, Sanjay Dutt and Sonu Sood. They not only help and protect their king on the battlefield but also outside.

Talking about his upcoming film, during the trailer launch, Akshay said, “Everything shown in the film is authentic and correct. It is startling that the story has been unknown for such a long time.” Sharing the official trailer on Twitter, the actor wrote, "Releasing in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. Celebrate Samrat #Prithviraj Chauhan with #YRF50 only at a theatre near you on 3rd June (sic)."
