Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel conceded that the Premier League club has no idea whether its fixtures in the coming week will go ahead as scheduled due to the increase in Covid-19 cases within the squad. Tuchel said the club would continue to test its players for Covid-19 and train for the upcoming matches.
Chelse had only 4 outfield players on the bench as they were held 0-0 by Wolverhampton Wanderers in their league game on Sunday. Chelsea have as many as 7 positive cases after Romelu Lukaku, Timo Werner, Callum Hudson-Odoi and the injured Ben Chilwell all tested positive before Thursday's draw with Everton.
