Wolves goalkeeper Rui Patricio suffered a head injury during the team’s 1-0 loss to Liverpool, on Monday. Patricio and his teammate Conor Coady bumped into each other in the later stages of the game. After the collision, Patricio seemed to have incurred a serious head injury and was carried off the ground on a stretcher after a round of treatment given to him on the pitch. The keeper remained laid on the ground with a concussion for several minutes. Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo said that he was relieved after the medical staff informed him that Patricio has escaped a serious injury and is stable now.
