Pranitha tied the knot with businessman Nitin Raju on May 30 in a private ceremony in Bengaluru. The Saguni actress apologised to everyone for not inviting them to the special occasion due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The news of Pranitha’s wedding went viral when pictures of Pranitha and her husband Nitin surfaced on social media. One of their friends, who had attended the wedding, shared a picture of the bride and the groom. Soon after, Pranitha shared a statement that she is indeed married to Nitin Raju and apologised for not inviting everyone. Sharing it on Instagram, the Hungama 2 actress wrote, “It is with great happiness that we would like to inform you that we got married on 30th May 2021 in very intimate ceremony. We are extremely sorry to not have informed you about the finalized date as up until the day before the wedding we were unsure about when the wedding will take place due to the current Covid restrictions. We didn't want to put you through with the prolonged ambiguity about our wedding dates. Please accept our sincere apologies as we would have like nothing more that for our loved ones to be a part of our special day. You mean a lot to us and we hope to celebrate together when things gets better. With love, Pranitha and Nitin (sic).”
