The short video garnered a fair deal of attention as it featured him as Lord Ram. The visual effects, however, failed to impress most netizens. Some of them took to Twitter and called it an underwhelming imitation of Game of Thrones. The teaser ended up sparking a meme fest in no time. Adipurush is a mythological drama, directed by Om Raut.

Prabhas, last seen in the romantic drama Radhe Shyam, is gearing up to return to the big screen with Adipurush. The film's teaser was released on Sunday, October 2, amid fanfare.
