A Portuguese travel vlogger's video detailing her experience of being followed for selfies in Mumbai has led to strong reactions on social media.
A travel vlogger from Portugal has shared a video that shows her being followed and harassed for selfies on the streets of Mumbai. The clip, which has now gone viral on social media, captures two men repeatedly approaching the vlogger despite her clearly refusing their requests.
The woman, identified as Ines Faria, posted the video on Instagram, where she documented the uncomfortable encounter. In the footage, she can be seen walking away while two men continue to follow her, insisting on taking a selfie.
Even after she repeatedly says “no”, the men persist, trailing her and attempting to strike up a conversation. At one point, they also suggest becoming “friends”, further adding to her discomfort.
In the caption accompanying the video, Faria explained that the incident stood out because her experience in India had otherwise been overwhelmingly positive.
“This was the first time something like this happened to me in India and I’ve been here for two months now,” she wrote. “Most of my experience has been beautiful, kind and welcoming. But this day was different.”
She added that the men followed her and her companion for more than 15 minutes, ignoring repeated refusals.

Over the past week, social media has been abuzz with rumours claiming that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was killed in an Iranian missile strike. However, there remains no credible evidence. It coincided with his reported absence from cabinet meetings. However, Israel has released videos and images to assert that Netanyahu is alive.
