PM Modi will be launching the MP government's start-up policy on May 13 at a virtual event.
An official said on Monday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually launch the Madhya Pradesh government's start-up policy and implementation plan 2022 on May 13, aimed at boosting budding entrepreneurs in the state.
According to a public relations source, the ceremony would be conducted at Brilliant Convention Centre in Indore in the presence of MP Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
Various programmes have been implemented across the state to raise awareness about the state's start-up strategy, which was created specifically to strengthen and bring to life the entrepreneurial ideas of young people, according to the official.
The new policy, which is considerably different from the old one, will be implemented alongside the MP Start-up Centre, said Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Department Secretary P Narhari.
The start-up centre will have its own office, a head/mentor for each firm, and specialists in the sector who will assist the entrepreneurs, Narhari explained.
