The plea is likely to seek a stay on the Central Vista project because several construction workers have reportedly contracted Covid-19.
After the Delhi High Court refused to put a stay on the Central Vista project and adjourned the matter to May 17, the petitioner who had moved the plea is likely to approach the Supreme Court today, India Today TV has learnt. Sources say the petition before the Supreme Court would be to challenge the high court's adjournment order. Senior advocate Siddharth Luthra had on Tuesday argued that the plea was to seek a stay on the order that allowed transporting construction workers from Sarai Kale Khan to the Central Vista site in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic that has hit Delhi hard.More Related News
