Parts of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry are expected to witness thunderstorms with light to moderate rainfall within the next three hours.

Thunderstorms with light to moderate rainfall have been predicted for several parts of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry within the next three hours.

The weather department has predicted thunderstorm with light to moderate showers for Chennai, Chengalpattu, Kancheepuram, Tiruvallur, Villupuram, Cuddalore, Perambalur, Ariyalur, Namakkal, Pudukottai, Ramanathapuram, Toothukudi, Tirunelveli, Kanniyakumari, Thanjavur, Tiruvarur, Nagapattinam and Myladuthurai districts of Tamil Nadu, besides Karaikal in Puducherry .
