Here are the live updates from Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha on Day 13 of the ongoing Monsoon Session of Parliament.
The Centre is expected to introduce two legislations in Parliament on Day 13 of the Monsoon Session. While Lok Sabha will take up the Central Universities (Amendment) Bill, 2022, the Upper House will consider the Energy Conservation Act, 2001 and the Energy Conservation Act, 2001 for passing, as per legislative business for Wednesday. Under Rule 193, the Lok Sabha is also scheduled to hold a discussion on the need to promote sports in India and steps taken by the Government in this regard.

Union Minister R.K Singh to move for leave to introduce a Bill further to amend the Energy Conservation Act, 2001. The minister will also introduce the Bill.

Chandrababu Naidu is all set to take oath as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh for the fourth time, at Kesarapalle IT Park located near Vijayawada on June 12 (Wednesday), arrangements are underway for a live telecast of the ceremony at eleven places across the Nellore district.
Governor S. Abdul Nazeer has invited the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), which is part of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), to form the government in the State. Ambassador of Finland to India Kimmo Lähdevirta on Tuesday said Finnish companies “face issues” in Tamil Nadu due to regulations that prevent their participation in tendering processes.
