After the bomb attack, Hibbert suffered severe injuries to his spinal cord that left him unable to walk or move. But that was not enough to dampen his spirits. He used a specially modified wheelchair to climb the tallest mountain in Africa and etch his name as an inspiring person.

In a video shared by Hibbert on his Facebook profile, he spoke about the challenges faced during the climb. He initiated the feat with the help of a support group. “Here, we are on the top of Kilimanjaro. five years ago, I was in the hospital, hardly able to move. And here I am, five years later on the top of Kilimanjaro,” he said.
