In a breather of sorts for Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa on the reservation front, Jaya Mritunjaya Swamiji has announced that he is temporarily withdrawing his agitation. This happened after Yediyurappa assured that a report will be submitted on providing category 2A reservation for the Panchamasali community within six months. Speaking on this issue in the House, CM Yediyurappa said, "We have sought a report from the Backward Classes Commission, also from a committee headed by a retired High Court judge that has been constituted and they will submit their report. In six-seven months, I will try to get the report. As there is demand from everyone [various communities], we will take appropriate decisions."More Related News
