Panasonic has introduced an optional four-day workweek to help employees maintain a work-life balance.
Panasonic’s new work policy makes it a dream company of many job goers who are struggling in their companies. That is because the electronics company has introduced an optional four-day workweek to help employees maintain work-life balance. This means that employees can choose to work only four days a week. Most companies make their employees work for five days a week but of late four-day, a week work plan has become the norm in many companies. In fact, UAE became the first country to transition to 4.5 day work week.
In Panasonic’s sustainability management briefing, president and group CEO Yuki Kusumi informed the investors that the company will transition to four-day work plan so that the company can "flexibly accommodate diverse situations of our employees”.

Meta has hired the team behind the agentic AI startup Dreamer.
