Telangana government orders special pujas at temples in support of Indian armed forces engaged in Operation Sindoor, with rallies held in Hyderabad.
Telangana government has issued orders to perform special pujas at major temples under the purview of the State Endowments department on Friday (May 9, 2025), in support of the Indian armed forces engaged in Operation Sindoor. They should be conducted with the participation of local MLAs, other public representatives and prominent people, as per official communication which added that it is completely voluntary.
A rally in support of the Armed forces was held in Hyderabad on Thursday (May 7, 2025). The Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, his Cabinet colleagues, veterans of the Indian Army, Air Force and paramilitary forces, State police and others participated in it.
Telangana Jagruthi announced that a rally in support of Operation Sindoor would be held from People’s Plaza to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Statue on Tank Bund in the city on Friday late evening. It would be led by Bharat Rashtra Samithi MLC and the Jagruthi’s president K Kavitha.
