The OnePlus Nord Watch has been announced in India and it is priced under Rs 5,000. This is the second wearable from the brand and with this, OnePlus has made an entry into the affordable watch segment. The smartwatch can track your heart rate, sleeping patterns, steps and other activities. OnePlus claiming that users will get up to 10 days of battery life with the OnePlus Nord Watch. Here’s everything you need to know.
The OnePlus Nord Watch is priced at Rs 4,999 in India and it is already up for sale. The smartwatch is available through OnePlus.in, OnePlus Store App and select OnePlus Experience Stores. It will be on sale via Amazon starting October 4.
Interested buyers will be able to buy the smartwatch at an even lower price with Axis Bank cards. There is a special discount of Rs 500, which brings down the price effectively to Rs 4,499. Those who will buy it via Amazon will be able to use ICICI Bank cards to avail the same discount offer.
The OnePlus Nord Watch features a 1.78-inch AMOLED display with 60Hz refresh rate and HD resolution. The screen has a peak brightness of 500nits. The smartwatch has a rectangle dial and silicone straps. There is a single button on the right side for navigation.
People will be able to check their phone’s notifications on the Nord Watch and even control music. One will be able to control the watch through the company’s N Health app, which allows you to track your overall state of health and monitor daily activities such as step counting, calorie measurement, and sleep quality. The app has around 100 watch faces.
The Nord Watch is equipped with 105 fitness modes. The wearable also automatically registers your steps when you go for a run or a walk. The company is claiming that the new OnePlus Nord Watch can “generate a personal health summary in less than two minutes, ably displaying your heart rate, stress levels, and oxygen saturation (SpO2).” The watch can also predict women’s monthly menstrual cycle with a built-in algorithm.
The OnePlus Nord Watch is IP68 rated, which means it is water resistant. But, don’t take it for scuba diving. The OnePlus Nord Watch is claimed to deliver up to 10 days of battery life on a single charge. It comes in Midnight Black and Deep Blue colours. The wearable is compatible with Android 6.0/iOS 11 and above.
