The moniker marks a difference from the earlier speculations of the name of the smartphone - OnePlus Nord N1 5G. The said OnePlus device is supposed to be the OnePlus Nord N10 5G successor, launched in October last year. Back in February, it was tipped that the smartphone will be named OnePlus Nord N1 5G. A recent leak by Max Jambor states otherwise, mentioning the name OnePlus Nord CE 5G for the first time ever. As for what the CE stands for is yet unknown, and so are any specifications about the budget smartphone.
