The company is speculated to come with three new smartphones apart from the OnePlus 10 series, which is slated to arrive in April. The OnePlus 10 series has already been made official in China. Apart from the OnePlus 10, the smartphone maker is also expected to announce two NORD devices. OnePlus is expected to launch the OnePlus Nord 2 5G, which is speculated to arrive in India later this month but now a new report has stated that OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite is also in the works. The specifications of the smartphone were leaked ahead of launch.
OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite is expected to be the watered-down version of the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G. OnLeaks in collaboration with SmartPrix had first reported the existence of the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite. Now a noted tipster, Yogesh Brar, has shared the complete specifications of the smartphone.
OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite is expected to feature a 6.59-inch Full HD+ display with a refresh rate of 90hz. The smartphone could use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 coupled with upto 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite could come with another 6GB variant with a storage capacity of 128GB.
In terms of the camera, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite features a triple camera setup on the rear which includes a 64-megapixel primary camera, a 2-megapixel mono lens along with a 2-megapixel macro lens. On the front, there is a 16-megapixel camera sensor for selfies. The smartphone is expected to come with a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging. The OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite will run on Android 11 on top of Oxygen OS 11.
The OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite is also expected to feature a 3.5mm jack, side mounted fingerprint sensor, no alert slider.
As far as the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite is concerned, the smartphone is expected to launch in India in February. Tipster Yogesh Brar had claimed that the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G could come with a starting price of Rs 23,999 in India. The mentioned price could be for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model. The company will also reportedly offer an 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant, which would cost Rs 25,999 in the country.
