The OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G could come with a starting price of Rs 23,999 in India. The sale of the mid-range smartphone will reportedly take place in the country just after the launch event.
The OnePlus Nord CE 2 is all set to launch in India on February 17, which is just a few days away. Ahead of the launch, a lot of details have already been leaked online, leaving very little to imagine. Now, the Indian prices of the upcoming OnePlus smartphone have also surfaced online. Tipster Yogesh Brar has also suggested that the sale of the OnePlus Nord CE 2 will take place in India just after the launch event.
The cited source claims that the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G could come with a starting price of Rs 23,999 in India. The mentioned price could be for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model. The company will also reportedly offer an 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant, which would cost Rs 25,999 in the country.
The device could be made available in two colour options, including Bahama Blue and Gray Mirror. It will likely be up for sale through Amazon as the e-commerce giant has already published a dedicated page for this smartphone. As for the specifications, OnePlus has already confirmed some of them just ahead of the official launch.
The brand has already revealed that the OnePlus Nord CE 2 will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset. Comparatively, its predecessor offers a Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G 5G SoC. The new smartphone will have support for 65W fast charging, which is twice as much as you got with the original version. For your reference, the OnePlus Nord CE shipped with a 30W charger.
The company has confirmed to TechRadar that the device will come with a 4,500mAh battery. It seems that the brand is still not ready to offer a 5,000mAh battery that you get with most of the mid-range phones.
OnePlus also revealed that this device will have support for microSD cards. So, users will be able to expand the phone’s internal storage by up to 1TB. However, the company didn’t reveal the internal storage capacity options that would be available. It is expected to offer the device in both 128GB and 256GB storage options. The teasers have so far suggested that the smartphone will sport a triple rear camera setup and a punch-hole display design, but it will lack the popular alert slider that one gets on premium OnePlus devices.
The rest of the details are yet to be officially revealed by the company. The leaks do suggest that the OnePlus Nord CE 2 will pack three cameras at the back and the setup will include a 64-megapixel primary camera sensor. It could be paired with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2-megapixel sensor. On the front, there could be a 16-megapixel camera for capturing selfies. It is also said to come with a 3.5mm headphone jack.
