OnePlus 10R live image surfaces online, may launch ahead of OnePlus 10

An alleged image of OnePlus device has leaked online. According to a few leaks, the device is OnePlus 10R. It is believed that the device will make its way earlier than the OnePlus 10. So read ahead to find out all the details of this rumoured device.
OnePlus is reportedly preparing to launch its flagship OnePlus 10 Pro globally. While we wait for OnePlus to make its launch date official, a brand new OnePlus device has surfaced online. It is believed that the phone is OnePus 10R. The device in the image shows a different camera module than what we saw on the OnePlus 10 Pro. It appears in Mint green and black colour options with the latter sporting a sandstone finish.
The phone features a big rectangular camera module on the rear. The module can be seen holding a big main camera which is accompanied by three additional cameras and an LED flash. The rest of the rear panel is plain with a OnePlus logo on the rear. The front panel is not visible in the picture.
The image spotted by Tipster Abhishek Yadav was first posted on the Chinese networking website Weibo. He is not sure as to what device it is. In his tweet, he states that the device is either OnePlus 10 or OnePlus 10 Pro. Tipster Max Jambor in the comments replied that if he was told the model number, he would find out what device it was. In a follow-up comment, Yadav replies “ Is this real?”. This indicates that there’s no confirmation if the leaked picture is real.
Further ahead, retweeting the same tweet, Max Jambor said that the device is likely OnePlus 10R codenamed Pickle. He also believes that OnePlus 10R will make its way before the vanilla OnePlus 10.
Leaks suggest the OnePlus 10R could pack a MediaTek Dimensitty 9000 chipset. Along with that, it may have a 120Hz display. Traditionally, OnePlus has been shipping its flagship series with Qualcomm chipsets, thus it's hard to digest that OnePlus 10R will sport a MediaTek chipset. To recall, OnePlus 9R shipped with a Snapdragon 870 chipset.
While it’s too early to predict the pricing of the OnePlus 10R, it is likely that the device will be priced lower than the standard OnePlus 10. For instance, OnePlus 9R was made available at a starting price of Rs 39,999. Thus, we can expect, OnePlus 10R to be sold at under Rs 45,000.
