One English medium school to be opened in each ward of SDMC

To improve services related to education, SDMC will be opening one English-medium school in each of its 104 wards.

South Delhi Municipal Corporation has improved the quality of education in its schools despite the reduction of budget allocation for Education by 24 to 26 percent. The primary education in Delhi is handled by the 3 municipal corporations in Delhi, namely, North Delhi Municipal Corporation, South Delhi Municipal Corporation, and the East Delhi Municipal Corporation. A total of 104 wards fall under the jurisdiction of SDMC. In a new initiative by the SDMC, they have decided to establish English Medium Schools in all the 104 wards that fall under its jurisdiction.
